[Test Steps]:
1. Put the sanitary napkin absorption speed tester in a horizontal position, pour a certain standard synthetic test solution into the reservoir, start the instrument, click the wash button, wash twice, and calibrate the liquid dosing volume of the automatic dosing device according to the instrument manual.
2. Take off the curved specimen holder on the instrument and place it on a horizontal table, take a specimen, tear off the bottom release paper, and gently paste it on the arc-shaped test area made of the arc, when pasting, the front end of the specimen is on the left side of the curved seat, and the rear end is on the right side of the arc-shaped seat, and the center line of the guard is aligned with the corresponding line of the outlet on the base, and the ginger wing is attached to both sides of the curved specimen holder, and then the arc-shaped specimen holder with the specimen is placed in the fixed position of the absorption velocity tester.
3. Enter the test interface of the absorption velocity tester, ensure that the standard test module can fall freely to the surface of the specimen, click the test, add 5ml of standard synthetic test solution to the standard test module, and the timer will automatically stop timing until the absorption of 5ml of test solution is completed.
4. After the test, wipe the bottom of the standard test module with clean paper towels and pulp, remove the curved specimen holder, tear off the tested specimen, and prepare for the next test.
5. At least 5 valid data are measured for each sample.
6. After completing all the tests, use the distilled water to clear the absorption speed tester and standard test module.
7. Experimental result representation method: the result is expressed by the arithmetic average of the test values of 5 specimens, in seconds (s), and the integer digit of the result revision.
The experimental equipment “sanitary napkin absorption speed tester” used in the above experimental steps is a new type of sanitary product testing equipment independently designed and developed according to GBT8939-2018.
